Summit set for tourist-related businesses
Registration is open for the 2011 Tourism Summit, to be held from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct.19, at Fort Worden in Port Townsend. Speakers will cover issues such as engaging visitors, social media and customer service, with a panel of travel writers as well.

Elwha Dam RV Park plans expansion
Elwha Dam RV Park owner Bobbi Fuller plans to expand the park at 47 Lower Dam Road, five miles west of downtown Port Angeles. She will add 10 additional sites for large RVs, expand the restrooms, showers and laundry facilities, and add a gathering room and patio. Expansion is scheduled for this fall. Wind Rose closes for harvest
Wind Rose Cellars will be closed at 155 W. Cedar St., Sequim, in October for grape harvest.
The business will be open for the First Friday Art Walk from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, and Friday, Nov. 4.
