Costco welcomes new hearing aid specialist
Sequim Costco, 955 W. Washington St., hosts a meet-and-greet to welcome new hearing aid specialist Daniel Malmberg from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10. There will be refreshments and an opportunity to schedule a free hearing test.
Malmberg and his family have moved to the area from Issaquah.
Hearing Aid Department hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Flamingo Fitness opens in Sequim
Certified personal trainer Grace Lambert has opened Flamingo Fitness, a studio for individuals and small groups who want help improving their physical fitness.
Most of what clients learn at Flamingo Fitness can be done at home with a minimum of exercise equipment. Lambert also is trained in performance training for seniors, though she works with clients of all ages.

S&P ugrades PUD rating to A+
Standard and Poor’s Rating Services has raised Clallam County PUD #1’s rating from “A” to “A+.”
The upgrade is for the PUD’s 2008 insured electric system revenue bonds and includes an outlook of “stable,” according to S&P, because “of a history of sound financial performance; the capacity to provide sound financial coverage of financial obligations added in 2010; and long-term power supply arrangements.”
