Castell Insurance is sponsoring a document and material shredding event, scheduled for 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday March 17, at the office, 426 E. Washington St.

The event is free and is open to the public.

LeMay Mobile Shredding will be having one of their large trucks parked on the parking lot at the front of the office. Material will be deposited in a container and shredded, and eventually recycled

“There will be no limit on how much material a person can bring for destruction, within reason,” agency owner Phil Castell said.

“We felt this would be a good time of year as people are starting spring cleaning and getting rid of old tax papers, etc. We utilize this service each and every month as we hold our clients personal information under lock and key at all times.”

Light refreshments will be served.
