Missionaries present concert
First Presbyterian Church of Port Angeles, 139 W. Eighth St., Port Angeles, hosts Hawaiian recording artists and missionaries Randy and Gay Hongo on Sunday, Aug. 22.
The Hongos will lead the 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services and present a concert at 6:30 p.m.
Sacred and traditional Hawaiian music will be played.
A freewill offering will be taken at the concert.

Presbytery explores options
The Presbytery of North Puget Sound, a regional body of the Presbyterian Church (USA), will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, for those in the Sequim area who wish to explore options to remain part of the PC (USA).
The meeting will be held in the meeting room of the Holiday Inn Express, 1442 E. Washington St., Sequim.
