Peninsula College English Professor Emeritus Alice Derry reads from her newest collection of poems, "Tremolo," during Peninsula College’s Studium Generale at 12:35 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in the Little Theater on the main campus in Port Angeles. The reading is free. A teacher of literature and German, Derry has earned honors and critical praise for her own four volumes of poetry and her translations of the work Rainer Maria Rilke.
