The Sequim American Legion has a new flag drop box on the west side of the building at South Sequim Avenue and East Prairie Street. This box is for unserviceable flags.
The flags will be given a proper disposal with honor and respect — many thanks to Ted Bedford who has done this for years.
Please check your flag and make sure it does not have rips or tears and is not faded. If so, it is time to get a new one!
Thank you for showing the proper respect for the symbol of the United States.

Dr. Gerald Cross, VA’s Under Secretary for Health, says, “VA simply does not call veterans and ask them to disclose personal financial information over the phone.”
Never give out any financial information over the phone to anyone who calls you.
