Things I like (One): India coming to a small town

Updated 1-3-13: Well, I tried to stop in for lunch today but I was told Tandoori Fusion is closed and a Mexican restaurant is moving in. So for the record at least I tried to help.

Sequim has a lot of hidden treasures.

There are great sandwiches, fantastic spots to view the scenery and strangers who wave at you because this town is that nice.

This past weekend, I revisited one of my family's favorite treasured establishments, Tandoori Fusion Cuisine of India, 820 W. Washington St.

The food is always spot-on and we have enough for a meal the next day. Believe me when I say the food might be even better the next day, too. I'm sure it has to do with the sauces mixing or it could be magic. I'll leave it up to you decide.

I love this place and with the end of the world imminent I decided, what they heck, I'll share something I like with you. This could be a great place for a last meal (wink wink, I'm joking).

The cost can be a little intimidating but remember it's likely to be enough food for two meals.

If you are hesitant that it might be too spicy, have no fear because I'm a wimp with spices and they go from wild to mild for the nerdily-weak-in-the-stomach.

My family varies our meal selection there but enjoy staples like Mango Chicken, Buttered Chicken and some form of naan. Make mine garlic!

So consider going to Tandoori Fusion. Try it and support it because it's rare that Sequim gets something a little unique in the meal train.
