We got the chance to ask random questions to legendary University of Washington quarterback Sonny Sixkiller. He’s served as spokesman for 7 Cedars Casino since 2005 and was notably the Huskies’ quarterback from 1970-1972. He was inducted into the Husky Hall of Fame in 1985 and the American Indian Athletic Hall of Fame in 1987. The casino celebrated its third Sonny Sixkiller Celebrity Golf Classic at The Cedars at Dungeness Golf Course this year benefit ing the Olympic Medical Center Foundation.

Sixkiller: When my two youngest boys played football (for O’Dea in Seattle) they came over to play a against Port Angeles and Sequim. The Sequim parents put on a feed of hamburgers and drinks between double headers. We just appreciated their hospitality. It was awesome. The kids were great. It was a nice feeling.
