Peninsula College now offers a series of free Web-based workshops on free applications for federal student aid. The workshops for individuals interested in applying for financial aid begin Feb. 26 at the college. Before participants leave, they submit FAFSA forms online. The workshops are in Room D-212 on the Peninsula College campus, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
Students and potential students are encouraged to stop by the workshops at anytime on the following dates:
• Feb. 26, 5-7 p.m.
• Feb. 28, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
• March 11, 5-7 p.m.
• March 13, 9-11 a.m.
Workshop attendees should bring a completed 2008_09 "FAFSA on the Web" worksheet and their own (or parents') 2007 tax return, if applicable, to the workshop.
Worksheets are available at the Peninsula College Financial Aid Office.
Workshop participants may request that a worksheet be mailed to them by calling Peninsula College's Financial Aid Office at 417_6390.
For those unable to answer all of the questions on the worksheet, assistance will be provided at the workshops. For more information, call 417_6390.
