Soroptimist International of Sequim is seeking applicants for the Women's Opportunity Award. This is a $1,000 cash award to assist women in obtaining the education and skills necessary to improve their employment status. An applicant must have primary financial responsibility for herself and family, attend or have been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program, and have financial need.

The award can be used to offset costs for education, child care and transportation.

The award winner will be eligible for the $5,000 Northwest Region level award.
