The Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic's new Mary Griffith Wellness Center will host a free wellness forum at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19.
The forums are an introduction to an extensive program of wellness and prevention implemented by Sequim's "free clinic" to encourage and support those who are committed to getting well and staying well.
At the forum, Kathy Schreiner will present the "Walking to Wellness" program, an ongoing series of walking events.
The public is invited; reservations are required as the class is limited in size. Phone 582-0218 no later than 5 p.m. today, Feb. 18.
The monthly forums are held at the Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic's Wellness Center, 777 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim, at the rear of the building.
The Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free health care to uninsured and underinsured community members.
It is staffed by volunteer physicians and other health care providers. Programs include wellness education and chronic health services plus primary care.
It is open to patients starting at 5 p.m. Monday and Thursday Donors can reach the clinic at 360-582-0218.
