The North Peninsula Building Association's board of directors announces FaLeana Wech has joined the organization as executive officer and government affairs director. Wech attended Whitman College where she majored in politics and entered the homebuilding industry shortly thereafter. She has been employed at Hines Construction, Inc. in Sequim for the past six years and is a licensed Realtor. She served on the NPBA board as a builder director and state director to the BIAW.

On March 13, 10 employees from Avamere Olympic Rehabilitation of Sequim traveled to Olympia to meet with Reps. Lynn Kessler and Kevin Van De Wege.
"Our sole purpose was to let them know that people were concerned about the prospective cuts to the Medicaid program and the negative impact it would have on our ability to provide quality care to our residents," said Michael Jacobs, Avamere administrator.

Waterfront Art Gallery has won the "Beautification Award" from the Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce.
