Glazier takes panes with PUD replacements
Sequim Village Glass of Carlsborg is now a participating installer for Clallam County PUD. They will replace residential windows and glass doors for customers taking advantage of PUD's incentive program.
PUD offers rebates of $6 per square foot of glass replaced. This lets homeowners save on future utility bills, make their homes more comfortable and increase the home's resale value. Weatherizing now will reduce the impact of future utility increases and higher materials costs while taking advantage of available federal tax credits.

Cancer center accreditation
Harrison Medical Center has received three-year accreditation with commendation from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.

Raymond named as mortgage lender
Longtime Port Angeles resident Kelly K. Raymond joined Sound Community Bank as a mortgage lender in its new branch at 110 N. Alder St., Port Angeles.
Raymond's background includes both lending and underwriting mortgage loans. Raymond worked for more than 25 years with First Federal in Port Angeles.
First Federal joins in collecting school supplies
First Federal has again joined the America's Promise Alliance to ensure that children in local communities have the supplies they need as they head back to school.
Red wagons are located in each of First Federal's eight branches. Community members are encouraged to help fill the wagons with school supplies including paper, pencils, glue sticks, scissors and notebooks.
Everything donated will be given to local charities for distribution to children in need.
