The Sequim Police Department will be hosting our Fourth Annual Public Safety Fair this Saturday, October 17th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Guy Cole Convention Center at Carrie Blake Park.
Similar to the previous three events we will have approximately 27 local, state and federal agencies who will bring valuable information about crime prevention, disaster preparedness, public health, personal safety, children and senior resource information to the residents located on the east side of Clallam County. Our goal is to reach as many people as possible.
This is an outreach event for all agencies represented. It will be a fun environment while still being educational. There will be police cars and vehicles, fire trucks, an Airlift Northwest Helicopter in the morning, Coast Guard Helicopter in the afternoon, Clallam County Sheriff patrol boat along with several other vehicles for kids and adults to climb through and tour. Inside the convention center you will find numerous booths offering brochures and information from various agencies about services and programs.
