The Washington Community College Consortium for Study Abroad program allows students to learn, grow and explore new countries and cultures while earning college credit.
Consortium faculty complement classroom learning with trips to local museums, historical and other significant sites and to related events.
Students also are encouraged to learn by observing and interacting with the local citizenry and by traveling to places of interest on the weekends.
Peninsula College and other community colleges offer three study abroad programs in 2010:

_ Florence, Italy - spring
_ London, England - fall
