Jeni Flores received the 2009 Associate Appreciation Award from the Building Industries Association of Washington as a result of her work with the design of the Future Builders homes. The presentation was made by past president Kevin Russell during the Dec. 10 North Peninsula Building Association holiday gala and silent auction fundraiser. The local building association recommended that Flores be recognized for her hours of volunteer work and design techniques, adding value to the last two houses constructed.
