CPR and first aid

A first aid/cardiopulmonary resuscitation refresher class will be held 6-10 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, at First Baptist Church, 105 W. Sixth St., Port Angeles.

The cost is $35 for North Peninsula Building Association members and their employees and $50 for nonmembers and their employees.

A standard eight-hour first aid/cardiopulmonary resuscitation class also will be held 6-10 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, April 28-29 at the same location.

Registration is open through 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 28.

Transition fair

Clallam County Health and Human Services' Department of Developmental Disabilities offers its 11th annual Transition Fair for Students with Disabilities from 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday, May 4, at Vern Burton Community Center, 321 E. Fifth St., Port Angeles.

Several agencies and businesses from the Olympic Peninsula will be on hand to discuss opportunities for high school graduates obtaining adult employment.

An iPod and a digital camera will be among the prizes for a drawing.
