Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic begins a free workshop series called Living Well With Chronic Conditions.
It runs for six weeks, 6:30-9 p.m. Wednesdays beginning May 12, at Olympic Medical Center, 840 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim.
Living Well teaches practical skills to help people manage the physical symptoms and emotional distress associated with long-term illnesses including diabetes, asthma, heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, chronic pain or arthritis. The series will be led by Stanford University-trained facilitators Bob Boardman and Diane Clementi.

This free series is part of a Diabetes Education Project funded by the Washington Department of Health. Living Well also is supported by the Olympic Area Agency on Aging and the National Council on Aging.
