Going into its third year, the Dungeness Kids Fair continues to offer resources for children and their parents.

“The fair has provided an opportunity for families to see there are a lot of resources in Sequim,” said co-organizer and owner of Dungeness Kids Co. Susan Baritelle.

When she opened the store people told her there weren’t many children in Sequim, but she believes the event is one example why that’s wrong.

“But there are and a lot of grandparents, too,” Baritelle said.

She started the fair to help families find groups and to receive products and educational resources to help children.

“My favorite part is there are a lot of organizations getting their information out there and people are getting informed,” Baritelle said.

She plans for the fair to continue next year.
