More than $18,400 worth of used goods were sold Aug. 5-6 and in pre-sale events.

Michael Smith, center executive director, said the building owners are allowing them to continue using the space near QFC.

The sale will continue from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Fridays through Sept. 17 in suites E 104 and 105 at 990 E. Washington St.

Smith said there are thousands of items still at the sale, which is the center's biggest fundraiser each year. Funds raised go to general operations and 10 percent goes for scholarships for Sequim High School graduates.

"We're trying to get over $20,000 so scholarships can be in line with last year's total," Smith said.

A few new items have been added to the sale but no more donations are being accepted.

The Sequim Senior Activity Center is at 921 E. Hammond St. and can be reached at 683-6806.
