Winter storm warning issued

The National Weather Service issued an urgent statement this afternoon warning of significant snowfall expected to fall in the Olympics and Cascades late tonight through Wednesday night.
The snow level is expected to be near 3,000 feet late tonight and falling Wednesday night to around 2,000 feet. Accumulations in the mountain higher passes will be in the 8 to 10 inch range.
