Peninsula College closes at 5 p.m. today; city nixes meeting

Port Angeles and Forks campuses of Peninsula College will close at 5 p.m. today, while the Port Townsend branch of the college is closed now.
The decision about tomorrow's classes will be decided by about 5:30 a.m., college officials said. (See KONP news radio 1450, konp.com, King5.com and the college website, www.pc.ctc.edu, for closure status.)
Also, the City of Sequim announced their special meeting set for Friday, Feb. 25, has been canceled. The special meeting was a site visit to Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo to examine their downtowns and projects and speak with planners. City councilors are seeking ideas for better shaping the future of downtown Sequim.
