City adds stop signs for bicycles

The City of Sequim installed two stop signs on the Olympic Discovery Trail, on Hendrickson Road at Kendall Road and Spencer Farm Place, to help increase bicycle safety.
City staff observed bicyclists often proceeding into the intersection crosswalk without slowing down or stopping.
The new stop signs are consistent with the strategy used by Clallam County, which has a stop sign at Hendrickson and Priest roads on the Olympic Discovery Trail.
