Zynda's car, part of the Peninsula Dream Machines club, was one of 115 participating in the Sequim Lavender Growers Association car cruise July 17, raising $2,300 for the Boys & Girls Club. The Sequim Valley Car Club also participated, with president Dave McIntosh a key member of the team organizing the show. Zynda said the car clubs appreciate what the Boys & Girls Club does for the community. Budke accepted a check on behalf of the club.
