Randal Bruce Beaver
A private service was held Aug. 3 for Sequim resident Randal Bruce Beaver, who died Aug. 1, 2012, at the age of 55.
He was born Sept. 28, 1956, in Lancaster, Calif., to Jerry I. and Karyl Sundquist Beaver. He grew up in Lancaster and Thousand Oaks, Calif. He was an artist in the Sequim area for 24 years.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Karyl Beaver Rotte; his sister and brother-in-law Lucinda Beaver LoPiccolo and Kevin LoPiccolo; one nephew; and three nieces.
Sequim Valley Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.


Mary Jean Stanton
Sequim resident Mary Jean Stanton died Aug. 5, 2012, at the age of 86. She was born Dec. 12, 1925. A full obituary will run at a later date.


Evelyn Margaret Sanford
Sequim resident Evelyn Margaret Sanford died July 27, 2012, at the age of 98. She was born June 14, 1914, in Rolla, N.D., to Adolf and Margaret Pelkonen Halone.
Prior to her marriage, she worked as a beautician. She married Neuman Sanford on Aug. 1, 1946, in Rolla, N.D. The couple lived in Minnesota, North Dakota and California before settling in Sequim in 1954.
She was preceded in death by five siblings; her husband, Neuman Sanford; and her granddaughter Laura Sanford, of Bozeman, Mont. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Wood, of Quinault; sons Darryl Sanford and David Sanford, both of Sequim; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
