Elsie May Stockton
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 Blake Ave., Sequim, for Sequim resident Elsie May Stockton, who died Oct. 2, 2012, at the age of 90.
A private family burial service is Sunday, Nov. 4.
She was born Nov. 4, 1921, in Seattle, to Paul W. and Mabel Baker Copestick.
She married Carol Frederic “Kayo” Stockton on May 27, 1949, in Seattle.
After many years in Seattle, the couple moved to Shelton in 1988 and to Sequim in 1993.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Fred and Christy Stockton, of West Linn, Ore.; daughter Carol Ann Barrows, of Bainbridge Island; daughter and son-in-law Sprite Sunshine and Stan Davidson, of Poulsbo; and eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sequim Senior Activity Center building fund, 921 E. Hammond St., Sequim, WA 98382.

 

 

Gerald H. Morrow
Sequim resident Gerald H. Morrow died Oct. 3, 2012, at the age of 90.
He was born June 25, 1922, in Colville to Sam and Effie May Morrow.
He served in the U.S. Navy Construction Battalion rebuilding Pearl Harbor during World War II. After his service, he became a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by a daughter, Dottie Acheson, of
Sequim; son Kevin Morrow, of Renton; son Gordon Morrow, of Buckley; and four grandchildren.

Sequim Valley Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
