Karen Lippy and Jeff Ryan present Field Investigations, a course to help teachers for grades 1-12 blend indoor and outdoor learning, from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at the Feiro Marine Life Center, 315 N. Lincoln St., Port Angeles. 

The course, which includes an independent study due Oct. 15, uses the new "Pacific Education Institute Field Investigation Guide."

 

Participants are eligible for a $100 stipend and up to 12 clock hours to support the implementation of a field investigation with their classes.
