The Purple People Eaters, a T-ball team coached by Sharla Dewar, raise a cheer for the crowd at Sequim Little League’s opening day ceremonies on Saturday, April 10. The league added a “senior Girls” division, allowing girls to play through 16 years of age (up from 14 in previous years). League president Shawna Rigg said she’s hoping to find some helpers to fundraise and work to get the league’s new playfield open. With a new field, the league can host all-star tournaments, Rigg said. See www.sequimlittleleague.com for more information.
