No injuries — to humans or animals, anyway — were reported after a car-versus-business sign collision was reported on Saturday, Feb. 19. Phil Castell, owner of the sign and nearby business, said that a driver lost control of the vehicle after a pet jumped into the driver’s lap. No one was hurt in the incident, Castell said. “The sign won — let’s put it that way,” Castell said. “(But) property always can be repaired or replaced.” Sequim Gazette photo by Jay Cline
