Employees of Adagio Bean & Leaf, 981 E. Washington St. in Sequim, invite customers to celebrate its five years in business from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, June 16, with activities and tasting samples for children and adults. More than 100 raffle prizes will be given away this month and the cafe will feature birthday specials through June. Also on Saturday, the business is hosting a charity car wash for Oxford House Chapter 20 (local recovery houses raising money to attend an officer leadership training retreat). Owners Ben and Troy Smith are fourth-generation dairy/agricultural farmers in the Dungeness Valley and offer only organic fair trade coffee which is micro-roasted by Vinaccio in Marysville.
