Safeway backs prostate research
A limited-edition, reusable shopping bag embossed with the words “It starts with a wish; it can end with a cure” is available for purchase at all Safeway locations nationwide. Proceeds go to prostate cancer research as part of a program the Safeway Foundation has launched with the nonprofit Stand Up to Cancer. Shoppers also may donate at checkout stands.
