Baby changes everything

"A Baby Changes Everything: A Dramatic Musical" will be presented at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, and at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, at Eastern Hills Community Church, 81 Savannah Lane, Sequim.

Read to dogs

Olympic Gentle Paws will have dogs at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., on Saturday, Dec. 19, from 11 a.m.-noon.

The dogs love books, according to organizers, but can't quite say the words, so lots of youngsters are needed to come to the library and read to them. Bring a book or read one of theirs. Contact Chris at 681-4440, cornellc@olypen.com for more information.



Watercolor class

A free watercolor class provided by

Seniors Making Art will be held from 10 a.m.-noon for seven weeks starting Wednesday, Jan. 13, at the Sequim Museum and Arts administration building,

544 N. Sequim Ave.

Instructor for the watercolor class will be Sequim artist Pat Gordon.

Those interested can sign up at the Museum and Arts Center, 175 W. Cedar St.

Class size is limited to 15. Seniors Making Art has funded free classes in Sequim and Port Angeles for the past five years.

Reunion, wine tasting

The Olympic Peninsula Enological Society hosts a New Year's reunion and champagne and port tasting from 6-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave.

Music for listening and dancing will be provided by Craig Buhler and Al Harris in this, the group's eighth holiday event.

Former members and prospective new members are welcome.

Attendees should bring an appetizer or a dessert to share and two glasses, one for champagne, one for port. Call Carol Peet at 457-4318 for details and reservations.
