Bachelor’s degree info sessions set
Learn about earning a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in environmental studies from Western Washington University’s Huxley College of the Environment by taking classes in Port Angeles.
For more information, come to an information session from 5-6 p.m. Thursday, March 1, or 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Peninsula College’s Pirates Union Building, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.

Sons of Italy offers scholarship
The local chapter of the Order of the Sons of Italy in America invites applications for the Elena Buonpane Memorial Scholarship Fund to assist Clallam and Jefferson county students with an Italian heritage or interested in Italian culture to further their education.
A scholarship of $650 will be awarded for the 2012-2013 academic year to be used at any college or technical school of the student’s choice. Applications are available at local high schools and Peninsula College counseling offices or by calling Don Zanon at 452-8677. Deadline for applications is April 14.

Grants for educators
Any educator or paraprofessional working in a Clallam County school may apply for continuing education grants from the Helen Gariepy Grants for School Educators in Clallam County.
Funding may be for full reimbursement of funds or for partial reimbursement. Applications are available at www.betanuchapter.com. The deadline is April 15.
