First Step Family Support Center, a United Way agency, was awarded $25,000 from the Norcliffe Foundation in support of its campaign to expand its facility. The agency is in the midst of a capital campaign to raise funds to build a 4,174-square-foot community services facility on the current campus. The expansion will feature a much-needed infant and toddler child care/early learning center, parent meeting and training rooms, a reading resource room, a kitchen and confidential counseling offices. This will substantially increase the agency's capacity to expand current programs and to initiate new ones that the community has identified as fundamental for supporting and building successful families and children.
