Mexican Folk Dancers of Sequim mark Mexico's independence with a celebration Sept. 13 in the Pirate Union Building at Peninsula College in Port Angeles.
The event includes a dinner and music followed by a dance performance.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Dinner is served 5-6 p.m. and the dance performance follows from 6-7 p.m.
The cost of admission does not include the dinner, which will be buffet style and may be purchased separately.
Tickets for the performance are general admission, $12; couples, $20; seniors, $10; military, $10; students, $8; and children 10 and under, free.
Sponsors of the celebration are Peninsula College, Puerto de Angeles Restaurant and DJ Guerrero Sound.
