Michael Parmenter - Parmenter, 19, of Sequim, was charged Jan. 5 with forgery and three counts of second-degree theft. The Clallam County Sheriff's Office reports between June and December 2008, Parmenter stole 22 checks from his uncle and aunt and forged their names in order to take money from their checking accounts. The amount taken from his uncle's account was reportedly $580 and $900 from his aunt's account. The deputy report alleges Parmenter admitted to the theft and said he used the money for drugs.



Ray Beach - Clallam County Superior Court issued an arrest warrant for Beach, 52, of Sequim, for failure to appear in court Jan. 2 on charges of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and reckless endangerment. A Clallam County Sheriff's Office report says on March 20, 2008, Beach fired two bullets from a .38 caliber revolver in his home in Sequim. One bullet went into a wall but the second bullet went through his left hand and left leg, according to the report. Beach produced a blood alcohol concentration of 0.164 at Olympic Medical Hospital. Officers determined Beach is a convicted felon and is not allowed to possess a firearm.



Chad Beauchesne - Beauchesne, 32, of Sequim, saw his case dismissed from Clallam County Superior Court on Jan. 6. Beauchesne had faced the charge of methamphetamine delivery in a school zone. Court records indicate the Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team has an ongoing investigation pending and that the state will refile when that investigation is complete. A confidential informant allegedly purchased $100 of methamphetamine from Beauchesne at a convenience store 754 feet from a designated school bus stop in Sequim.



Kristen Garner - Garner, 35, of Port Angeles, saw her case dismissed from Clallam County Superior Court on Jan. 7. She previously faced charges of second-degree theft and five counts of forgery. Court records say the dismissal is part of an agreement between prosecution and defense in order to get a guilty plea in a separate case. Sequim Police began investigating forgery complaints in February. Garner allegedly started using the checks of her daughter, which were supposed to have been shredded at Garner's residence.
