Nancy Tinker presents "Doggie Daycare: a wonderful day in the life of your dog!" at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at Best Friend Nutrition, 680 W. Washington Ave., Sequim.
Tinker is co-owner of Goin' to the Dogs - Doggie Day Care & Doggie Day School in Sequim.
This program is the fourth in a six-part series the health food store for pets is offering.

Gary Colley, a founder of North Olympic Land Trust and longtime Clallam County Parks Board member, attorney and leader in numerous civic activities, is a finalist for an award that could net $5,000 for the Land Trust, depending on the number of votes cast.
Colley was selected as one of five finalists for Cox Conserves Heroes after being nominated by Land Trust executive director Greg Good and interviewed by a representative of KIRO TV, an affiliate of the co-sponsors, Cox Communications and Trust for Public Lands.
The award and the opportunity to donate the accompanying $5,000 depends on the number of votes cast at the Web site www.coxconservesheroes.com/seattle-wa/finalists.aspx.
Voting ends at 5 p.m. on June 19.
Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County's ReStore Home Improvement Warehouse has changed its hours for the summer.
New hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday-Saturday through Sept. 19. The warehouse is located at 728 E. Front St., Port Angeles.

Blooming Brush, a paint-your-own pottery studio, has new hours.
The studio, located at 1341/2 W. Washington St., is open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday-Friday; 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
Extended hours are available upon request for groups.

Happy Hour specials are every day from 6 p.m. until closing time and all day Sunday.
Clients can enjoy four levels of tanning, a spa experience with aromatherapy misting, ergonomic surfaces and customized air conditioning.
Complimentary amenities include bottled water, breath mints, deodorant, hair spray, lotion, towels and makeup wipes.
The location hosts an open house once a month, where those interested can speak with a skin care consultant from Sensaria Natural Body Care.
