Senate funds vets'
housing in Forks
Funding for a new transitional housing facility for homeless veterans included in a Senate appropriations bill has passed the full Senate.
Sarge's Place Veterans Housing Project will receive $500,000 to buy and remodel an existing two-story apartment building in Forks and convert it into housing for homeless veterans and their families.
