A third person remains at large in connection with a drug-related kidnapping and assault in the former Costco Wholesale parking lot the night of Oct. 23.

Christopher Michael White, 20, Port Angeles, was charged Oct. 27 with one count each of first-degree kidnapping and second-degree assault.

He is being held on $25,000 bail pending a Nov. 6 arraignment.

Bradford Robert Boulden, 23, Port Angeles, had the same charges filed against him Oct. 27. He also is being held on $25,000 bail pending an Oct. 28 arraignment.

An arrest warrant was issued for the third person involved, 26-year-old Michael J. Armstrong of Sequim.

According to court documents, employees at the Chevron station in Carlsborg called 9-1-1 to report an assault and request an ambulance.

Deputies contacted the victim who said he was assaulted in the former Costco parking lot at 100 Hooker Road.

The victim said he went to the parking lot with $160

to buy two OxyContin pills. He gave the money to Boulden, who left to get the drugs. While Boulden was gone, the other two began assaulting him.

The assault lasted about 30 minutes with punching, kicking and hitting with a rock until Boulden returned, the court documents stated.

Then Armstrong pressed what was believed to be a gun into the back of the victim's head and threatened to shoot him.

Armstrong photographed the victim's face with his cell phone and then called someone to say, "It's done."

The three left, and the victim walked to the Chevron station to get help.
