Alert Message has been issued by the Port Angeles Police Department.
Several local residents have been evacuated and the Washington State Patrol bomb squad is en route.

Port Angeles Police Department Investigating shooting in the 300 Block of Forest Avenue
The Port Angeles Police Department is now investigating a shooting in the 300 Block of Forest Avenue. An improvised explosive device has been found. As a result the 2400-2500 block of S. Cherry has been blocked off.
Several local residents have been evacuated and the Washington State Patrol bomb squad is en route.
It is anticipated that the area will be closed off for at least four hours.
