Sequim Senior Activity Center is hosting its third annual open house to show off all the cool activities you can join in.

The open house is from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at the center, 921 E. Hammond St.

"This is when we showcase our activities," said center Executive Director Michael Smith.

Those dropping by can watch or join in one of the exercise classes or card games. Or play pingpong, stretch in a yoga class, or try the popular new Wii Bowling game. Want to learn more about computers? Here's your chance. The center has computers and people to help.

Local artist Judy Priest will conduct a painting class, a special treat for all, and particularly for admirers of her work.

Board president Margaret Cox organized the event, including the scheduled entertainment, refreshments and door prizes.
