Dickey joins John L. Scott

Sequim resident Diann Dickey joined John L. Scott/Sequim, 1190 E. Washington St., Sequim, as a managing broker.

She completed a college level accredited home inspection course and education, experience and licensing qualifications to become a managing broker, accredited buyer representative and certified negotiation expert.

She was first licensed as a real estate broker in 1983.

Wells Fargo Bank remodels

Wells Fargo Bank continues normal banking hours during an interior remodel.

The bank is open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at 501 W. Washington St., Sequim.

Hours will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30.

Thrift store open Saturday

The Sequim Dungeness Hospital Guild's Thrift Shop, at the corner of Second Avenue and Bell Street, Sequim will be open an additional Saturday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 16.



Hansen earns designation

Heidi Hansen, a managing broker with Coldwell Banker Town & Country, 305 S. Sequim Ave., Sequim, has earned the certified negotiation expert designation.

The designation requires a two-day investment and provides tools, techniques and role playing for successful negotiating successful outcomes for clients, agents and brokers.

Silliman named warehouse superintendent

David Silliman was named as warehouse superintendent at Everwarm Hearth & Home, 257151 Highway 101, Port Angeles.

Silliman completed a four-day intensive technical training program at Travis Industries in Mukilteo, which includes product features, operation, installation and servicing product issues in the field. Call 452-3366.



Cancer liason picked

Dr. Rena Zimmerman recently received a three-year appointment as Cancer Liaison Physician for the cancer program at Olympic Medical Cancer Center.

Zimmerman is among a national network of over 1,600 volunteer physicians who are responsible for providing leadership and direction to establish, maintain and support their facilities' cancer program. Zimmerman is a member of the multidisciplinary cancer committee at Olympic Medical Cancer Center.



Habitat ReStore changes hours, name

Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County ReStore has changed to winter hours.

New hours for retail sales will be 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday. Donations may continue to be dropped off 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. Additionally, the store is changing its name from "ReStore" to "The Habitat for Humanity Store." This change is consistent with all Habitat for Humanity ReStores throughout Washington.

Sequim's Lewicki honored

The University of Illinois Foundation honored Sequim businessman Leonard Lewicki, a financial advisor affiliated with Ameriprise Financial at 224 W. Washington St., Sequim.

Lewicki, a member of the foundation for almost 20 years, recently made an estate commitment to the foundation of more than $750,000 to set up an endowment fund for the university's colleges of law and veterinary medicine.

Eighty percent of the fund establishes a faculty scholars fund in the College of Law and the remainder provides unrestricted funds for the University of Illinois Small Animal Clinic. He also funds a College of Law scholarship.
