Dicks, Cloud slated to debate today

The League of Women Voters of Clallam County hosts a debate between incumbent Norm Dicks and candidate Doug Cloud for United States Congressional Representative District 6 today, Oct. 6.
The debate is scheduled for 2-3 p.m. at the Sequim Community Church Fellowship Center, 950 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim.
This is the first formal debate between the two candidates.
The event is free to the public. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
This debate is co-sponsored by the American Association of University Women, radio station KONP and the Sequim Gazette.
