Rubberneckers have been slowing to investigate the aftermath of an accident at the corner of Lewis Road and Highway 101 near Port Angeles. The two-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. when the driver of a Pontiac Fiero arriving from the north pulled into the highway to take a left turn toward Sequim. She was clipped by a semi-truck that was traveling west. State Patrol Officer T.D. Beebe characterized the accident as “no big deal,” and said there were no injuries.
