Five positions are open to anyone within the Clallam County boundaries of the Sequim School District on Sequim City Council's Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee.

At least three members must live within the Sequim city limits. Applications are due no later than 4 p.m. Friday, July 1, to the Sequim City Clerk at Sequim City Hall or electronically at kkuznek@ci.sequim.wa.us.

The committee oversees the process for preparing a new comprehensive plan during an 18-month process.

It provides feedback and direction to planning staff, confirms completion of each step in the work program, advises the council and planning commission on approving milestones and approves readiness to proceed to the next phase.

Six-10 meetings during the project are anticipated.
