Chip seal of Blake Avenue starts next week

Through the duration of the summer and into the fall, the City of Sequim Public Works Department will be working on several road projects.
Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 23, Clallam County road crews with assistance from the City of Sequim Road Department will be chip sealing North Blake Avenue between East Washington and Fir streets.
It is anticipated that there will be a two- to three-hour closure at the intersection of North Blake Avenue and East. Washington Street sometime between Monday, Aug. 29, and Thursday, Sept. 1.
There will be one lane, two-way flagged traffic control on Blake Avenue and short (one- or two-hour) closures of intersecting streets and driveways as the work is done.
Drivers should expect some delays.
All work is subject to weather delays.
