Beginning as early as this week, Clallam County PUD residential customers will receive five free Energy Star® qualified compact fluorescent light bulbs mailed directly to their home courtesy of the PUD. Distribution of the CFLs should be complete by early March.

In addition to energy and cost savings for the customers, the mailing of CFLs helps the PUD reach conservation targets mandated by the Washington Energy Independence Act.
