One of the biggest names in contemporary Christian literature, Dr. Bruce Wilkinson, is coming to Port Angeles.

Wilkinson, author of “The Prayer of Jabez” and more than 60 other books, visits to help bring support to My Choices, formerly Care Net of Clallam County, a crisis pregnancy center in Sequim and Port Angeles.
He’s speaking as part of his touring mission, “The Great Turn Around,” to raise $100 million this year to prevent 100,000 abortions.

Part of his message includes encouraging leaders to ask women with unplanned pregnancies to seek godly counsel and encouraging people to volunteer at a center like My Choices.

The event is free with donations helping My Choices’ Port Angeles facility become medically accredited.
Organizers of the event will give a short presentation on My Choices followed by Wilkinson’s presentation.

Recently, Wilkinson has ramped up his banquet speaking to raise funds for pregnancy centers. He’s been involved in several ministries, including a launch of a global initiative to train indigenous leaders in 83 nations to conduct life skills courses. Another initiative of his mobilized volunteers to plant more than 500,000 backyard vegetable gardens for orphans and the hungry in Africa.
