Advance tickets for Sequim Lavender Farm Faire’s Heritage Lavender Farm Tour on July 20-22 went on sale this week.

For 16 years, farms like Purple Haze Lavender Farm and Olympic Lavender have drawn in thousands of locals and tourists for the local lavender attractions.

This year, seven farms are on tour, including Purple Haze, Olympic Lavender, Jardin Du Soleil Lavender, Lost Mountain Lavender Farm, Port Williams Lavender, Sunshine Herb & Lavender Farm and Washington Lavender Farm.

Each farm features lavender and lavender products, workshops, demonstrations, U-cut lavender, crafts, music, food, and more.

Advance tour tickets are $10 through July 19 and $15 during the weekend. Children 12 and under are free and active duty military and their dependents are $10.

Tickets are available online at www.sequimlavenderfarms.org, all farms on tour, First Federal branches, Frick’s, Heather Creek, McComb Gardens, Necessities & Temptations, Olympic Cellars, Port Book & News, Reddog Coffee Co., Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce, Wild Birds Unlimited, and All Things Lavender in Seattle.

The Farm Tour hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday-Sunday with free parking and shuttle service at the farms and Lavender in the Park at Carrie Blake/Reuse Demonstration Park.

This event continues for a second year to feature more than 100 booths with lavender products, activities and special attractions for all ages, such as a hot air balloon from the Sequim Balloon Festival and the Northwest Raptor & Wildlife Center.

Opening ceremonies begin 11 a.m. Friday, July 20, with Ciscoe Morris and the 133rd Army Band.

New volunteer coordinator Melissa Murray is looking for volunteers this year. People can submit applications online at www.sequimlavenderfarms.org/volunteers or call 452-6300 for a paper application.

Faire posters, on sale for $10, recently went on sale at all farms, too.
