Lavender Farm Faire presents tempting fare

Tickets are on sale for the Sequim Lavender Farm Faire, part of Sequim’s Lavender Weekend July 20-22. Each local lavender farm opens up its own fields, with workshops, demonstrations, crafts booths and food.
Most farms have children’s menus, ice cream and desserts as well as wine, beer and lavender drinks for adults.
Jardin du Soleil offers CrabHouse Restaurant crab paninis, lavender barbecued chicken and pulled pork. Lost Mountain Lavender features Jeremiah’s BBQ pulled pork and smoked chicken.
Fita’s Mexican Grill presents meal selections, including a lavender enchilada sauce and lavender ice cream, at Olympic Lavender. Port Williams Lavender offers lavender pepper sausage and lavender marinated prawns from Bella Italia, along with lavender lemon ice cream sandwiches and a beer and wine garden.
